Which sites can I capture?
Most ordinary HTTP and HTTPS pages in desktop Chrome. Browser pages and the Chrome Web Store block extension capture. Protected video, cross-origin embeds, nested scrollers, infinite feeds, and very large pages can limit results.
Can I choose the scroll speed?
Yes. Choose a scroll speed in the popup, or use manual scrolling for a recording that needs a different pace.
Does it always record at 60 FPS?
AutoCod targets up to 60 FPS. The actual result depends on the frames your source tab renders, hardware, browser scheduling, page complexity, and capture settings. Native · 1× output avoids the extra processing of upscaling.
Which file formats are available?
Screenshots are saved as PNG and very long pages may be split into parts. For recordings, the default Auto output format prefers native MP4 when your browser supports it and falls back to WebM. You can also select WebM explicitly. The recording preview shows which format will be saved.
Does it record audio?
The current workflow captures the visual tab without audio. Do not rely on it for microphone, meeting, or system audio recording.
Do I need to sign in?
Installation and guides are public. Capture in the extension requires an account with a verified email. Sign in inside the extension; signing into this website does not share its session.
Where are my captures stored?
Capture processing and downloads happen in your browser. Review the result and your browser’s download location. Account and support information are handled separately, as described in the privacy policy.
Can I use it on my phone?
AutoCod requires a desktop browser with Chrome extension support. Chrome on Android and iOS does not support this extension.
